  1. if i backup a dvd that i own using dvd x copy xpress, the backup works on my dvd player, however if i capture footage and convert it and put it onto any blank dvd it doesnt work on any dvd player (ive tried my own as well as a few of my neighbors). ive tried a few different programs and im just not having any luck, what can i do to get this to work?

    Is your DVD player designed to play AVI files? Not all of them are.

  4. oh, i havnt tried to put the avi file onto the dvd-r, ive only tried converting it to mpeg-2, what program will take an avi file and burn it onto a dvd-r? and what formats are considered dvd?

    1) DVD is MPEG2...as is SVCD...but just w/ different specs

    3) DVD is a format.
