Do I need to resync audio using SVCD2DVDMPG+?

Only when your mpeg isn't ok.
Most of the files go fine but sometimes vcd seem alright on your pc playing in a player but when you demux then they get out of sync, but that isn't svcd2dvdmpg but the vcd file.
