  1. I recently got a copy of A Clockwork Orange from a friend. The problem is that when I try to play it in Windows Media Player it just freezes the computer. I can get it to play in my CD recorder but then it screws up at a certain point. When i try to copy it from either drive it does it for a few minutes then puts up an error message saying that it cant copy from the source. Anyone know whats causing this and how to fix it. I am running Win98SE and using the Divx 4.01 codec.

  2. Hey...

This maybe a stupid question... but maybe the CD is scrathed or so on... or just a bad burn of the movie... it happens sometimes... try cleaning the CD...

  3. Nah the CD is clean and if it was a bad burn then why does it screw up in only one part. In the movie after the bad part you can fast forward past it and it plays again.

  4. well that section of the cd-r is messed up in one way or another. if cleaning it wont let you either copy it or play it, then you are out of luck.

ask your friend to burn you another copy.
