Don't get me wrong, I like the program, but when I burn a disc, the following happens:

1.) It goes thru the process of burning the disc.
--Now you would expect that would be it, but no, it then does this.

2.) It goes thru the "validating" process which takes another 20 mintues.

Why does it do this and is it possible to turn it off.

  4. You can turn it off for the main program in options or preferences but I have yet to figure out how to disable it if I'm using the wizard.

I would suggest you don't use the wizard and you can turn of the Verifying, take alook at the following pic....

As you can see there are a number of options in the circled area, put the option to record and this will stop it from verifying.

Sounds like that 98% thing is a problem closing the disc, or perhaps a media problem...?
