    i'm going crazy with this. everytime i try to encode one video with cce i get some weird macroblocks on the mpv file. the source is fine but then the encoded file is shit. anyone can PLEASE try to help me?
    i did 2 screen shots of the samples and also a screen shot of my cce settings.
    the settings you will see is one pass VBR but i also tried all other mpeg formats.
    please help me.

    I am no CCE expert but you need to do 3 things right away. You gotta do better than one pass vbr. Do at least 3 passes. Or better yet do CBR. Also you dont need to do max bitrate at 9800. Try 9000 to leave some room for the audio. If you do do vbr put your minimum bitrate at something higher than 0. Ive seen where it is suggested 300. Also for dv material turn off zigzag and put on alternate scanning.
