Does anyone know if/how to turn macrovision off on the Allegro ABV341?
I have read this post:

- it mentions how to make it region free and how to make it play VCD,
but I'm more interested in turning off the macrovision if it is possible.
Also I found where someone mentioned that the same codes for
the Zenith DBV312 work for the Allegro in this post:

however on the April 2003 unit I have there are 2 rows of codes
like what is mentioned in the first URL I cited instead of 1 row.
I tried changing the 1st row to what it shows for the Zenith, but
the macrovision persisted.


If anyone knows how to enable the unit to turn OFF macrovision,
please reply...
