Ok heres the scoop, im teaching my buddy how to cap off tv, unfortuantely his caps are turning out to be more then just a default error like most amateurs. I've tried figuring out what it could be but Im not the brainer here, so hopefully someone can help me out:
Hes got a WinXP OS, with a Hauppauge WinTV GO (same as my card) and using iuVCR as the capping program (yes good program)

It's possible the tuner on the card is shot,try a VCR they usually offer a better picture and connect to composite/S-video.Another problem could be the signal or RF interferance,try a signal booster or filter.
He must live in the bay area.....KRON.
