Hi guys,
Can someone please help me out on this:
I have been trying to get my SVCD files to DVD-r format but after i have burn the DVD and put it into my station DVD player the movie looks shrinked. The vertical size look good but the horizontal size doesn't look right, i want it to be more stretched out to fill out the black areas on each side.
I have used TMPGEnc to fix the sound issue to 48000Hz = done
I have used DVDPatcher to fix the header to be 352 = done
I have used Ulead MovieFactory and i used Best/PAL for PAL movies and Best/NTSC for NTSC movie = DONE
Now i got the Video_ts folder and all it's content, i have used DVDPatcher again, open up all my .vob files and switch them back to 480 instead of 352, i haven't touch the video_ts.vob file, it's in 720.
Now i have burn the movie in NERO = DONE.
One more thing, when i open the movie in InterVideo WinDVD4, is see my menu and the thumbernails as it should, but when i try to start one the harddrive start to work and i got this error msg box in Win XP.
But in my stational DVD player everything works but the screen is shrinked in horzontal.
Please is there anyone here who can tell what i have done wrong, i have now wasted lot's of time just to download movies, fix the sound etc...etc... and i don't think i can fix this problem without help
Thank you all who answer!

why dont you try svcd2dvdmpg? a free version is in the tools section. I don't think it will give you a menu but you could still put the mpg into ulead for that
