  1. Being a big fan of Nero, I have just gone and got Nero 6 and am hoping it might make life a little easier

I find that i am sometimes using up to 5 programs (Ripping/Copying/capturing/editing/resampling/repairing/converting) just to burn films on DVD.

I know it's new but was wondering if anyone has any guides hints or tips.

well from that poijt of view your still going to be using up to that many programs as nero still wont be a ripper , encoder, compressor even in verson 6, it will do all the same as the current nero just look different and have a few different features

  3. I have Nero 6 for more than a week now.. beside all the small apps that come with it, Nero 6 is exactly the same as Nero 5.5 with a new icons for the menu, and a selector to change your dvd burner you want to use.

so, not really worth the upgrade

They are adding more features to Nero 6. I'm guessing because people complained that it was too much the same as Nero 5.5.

According to the Nero web page, the new features should be available to download on the 25th of July. They don't say specificly what they are adding though.
