    Hello all,

    I own an Electrohome EH8181A DVD player. It runs through the VCR fist and then to the TV. Some movies play just fine but some dont. The video flashes on for about 2 secs and off for about 10 secs and continues doing tihs, although the audio is just fine. Is this problem a result of macrovision? If so, could i get rid of the macrovision by hooking the DVD player directly to the TV instead of the VCR? Is there a way to get rid of this problem by hacking?

    hacking... have you checked the dvd player database on this site?

    I can connect my dvd player to the tv capture card ( winfast 2000) and it plays ok.
