    i tried to view an AVI file and all the players i used have problems with it:

    WMP - "Error downloading codec" (i think its codec 2000 or sumthin like dat"
    DivX 2.1 - "Audio Data: Tag 8192"
    RealONE - "Warning...Some of the streams in this movie are in an unsupported format."
    WinDVD - It doesnt prompt anything but it views the file without the sound.

    I'm sure its not bad media since it works on my brother's comp

    it wont play in the divx player though.
