  1. I burned a movie yesterday and tested it today on my dvd player.
It didn't work so I checked it on my computer. It says theres 708mb on cd but the cd folder is empty. I'm asuming it didn't finalize burning session.

How do I fix this or finalize the cd?

  2. need more details...

    which program used to burn...

what did you burn the movie as SVCD, xSVCD, VCD, xVCD, CVD....???

    what's your dvd player?

if you made a SVCD/xSVCD, the movie should be in a folder called "MPEG2"

if you made a VCD/xVCD, the movie should be in a folder called "MPEGAV"

  4. weird....could be that you didn't finalize the disc...

in nero's VCD template under the "burn" tab, you should check the box next to "finalize disc"

    --------

do you have winDVD/powerDVD installed. perhaps, you can try using those programs to play the VCD.

try testing your VCD on someone else's computer and dvd player.
