  1. Hi!
I'd like to know what are the best settings (resolution, filters, encoder...) to capture F1 GPs and record each race in 2 CDs. My TV reception is not so good.
I can't make any disk with a decent quality. I think it's due to high motion scenes and not so good quality of source.
    Thanks in advance.

  2. I don't know what you normally use to capture but I use Virtualdub and capture MJPEG format then use noise reduction filters. You can search the internet and find all kinds of noise reduction and other filters for VD. You can edit and cut and apply the filters in VD and frameserve to TMPGEnc. (you can find guides over at the left hand side for this).

You said you wanted to fit it on 2 cd's but didn't say whether or not you would like it to be playable on a DVD player. I would suggest that if you have a DVD player that supports VCD's try that, the quality may not be too good but if you want to fit it on 2 cd's this is probably the only way to do it. If you want to play it on your PC however there is a whole host of codecs such as Divx that can give you small file sizes.
