Hi,
I might've done something dumb about the settingsbut I don't get audio track with the rendered avi files. The manual says the audio track should automatically display with the video when we load it onto the project but I see only the video track.
Please someone shed a light?
TIA,
Dawg

most likely your audio is in a format that vegas can't handle like ac3. open your movie in goldwave and save the audio as wav

Thnx for your quick tip. Ain't it strange if it can't recognize the audio track from DV files. I'll try some other ways.

you did not say you were rendering dv before ... it should show no problem .. if you play it - do you hear it ?

I can hear audio on the original dv file but not on the rendered avi file. If I load the rendered onto the TMPGenc, it automatically picks up the audio track from the same source.
