You can't burn svcd bin/cues on dvdrw. Or do you mean that you will use svcd2dvdmpg or some other tool to create a dvd?

You can use cdrwin, vcdeasy, fireburner to create bins/cue.

  5. CDRWin is highly recommended for making CUE/BIN images of existing discs.

If you are willing to go with other image formats, however, I suggest that you use CloneCD.

  7. If you just want the sequence-items (i.e., the video tracks), off a S/VCD, just use the CDXA2MPEG tool in GNU VCDImager Tools: http://www.michaeltam.com/vcdimager_tools.html on the "DAT/MPG" files on your (S)VCDs.

Otherwise, if you REALLY need CUE/BIN images for some reason, you could always go the convoluted way of using CloneCD to make a CloneCD image (CloneCD's ASPI drivers work with essentially everything), mount it with Daemon-Tools as a virtual CD, and then use CDRWin on the virtual CD...

update your aspi driver from this site

    http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/driverdetail.html?sess=no&language=English+US...=aspi_v471.exe

or use the aspi drivers supplied with cdrwin, .. click "devices and settings" select the "aspi" tab and tick the second option "use aspi drivers installed by cdrwin (if any)". ...... you must have these installed to be able to use them if you did not install them at the time you originally installed cdrwin just reinstall it and tick yes when it asks if you want to install aspi drivers supplied with cdrwin

  9. Assuming that updating the ASPI drivers don't work, you can still use my aforementioned method (the default Adapatec drivers don't work with external drives I think).

or make it simple on yourself. u can use Isobuster together with Ulead Movie factory to create a DVD from a SVCD:
    1) Go here and if you dont have Isobuster you can download it at the top of the page: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/141726.php#svcdbin
and follow the instructions of the last example but remember you want only to extract the MPEG2 files.
    2) Go here and if you dont have Movie factory, u can download here as well:
    https://www.videohelp.com/vcddvdr.htm
    follow the instructions and presto.
If u do consider doing this i highly rcommend that you go to your local disk (C drive) and create an empty folder so that when you follow the instructions of Isobuster you can put your files in there and not get mixed up.
what i did was i was trying to get 3 VCDs onto one DVD so i created one folder with three folders in it and i would keep the data from each VCD in each folder. but this is just my way, you might find a way that is easier.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS JUST SEND ME A PM @ skip2mylou AND TELL ME WHAT YOU NEED HELP WITH.

  11. Still no further cant get the aspi driver to go in keeps telling "The NTVDM cpu has encountered an illegal instruction" I have installed iso buster + movie factory but i'm still no wiser when iso buster is open i can see 3 folders in the vcd drive EXT MPEG2 and SVCD so how do you recreate the bin/cue files?

  12. Firstly, you should explain why you need the CUE/BIN images in the first place. You may be trying to doing something the "hard way".

In any case, did you try the CloneCD --> Daemon-Tools --> CDRWin method? It almost always works as CloneCD has an EXCELLENT in built ASPI driver.
