  1. I want to view every video files in windows media player 9, instead of having to switch to real, quicktime and many other players. How can I convert rm and mov files to wmv? Or even better, is there any video player that support all 3 formats ( including mpeg & 3ivx ), so that I don't have to do any conversion?

For demo, EO Video converts REAL into MPG.

For payware, Cleaner 5 converts QT and MPEG and WMV into any other video format, just not REAL, though it can MAKE Real videos. Go figure.

For free, TMPGENC can convert MOV into WMV.

Also try those new REAL and QT ALTERNATE codecs on the front page of this site.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

Media Player Classic (free), when equipped with the Real and QT alternative codecs (also free), can play everything.

However, since I like docking my player to the toolbar, I still use WMP9 for everything EXCEPT Real and QT, for which I use MPC.
