  1. I relatively new with virtual dub but the last few avi files I've tried to extract the audio from give me the same error message....something about no audio compressor could be found. It does not stay on the screen long enough for me to see it all. I wonder if I need more of the encoder files but I'm not sure.
What can be done to fix this? Oh yeah, most of the avi files are xvids but some are divx too.
    Thanks
