Monitor Blur Problem - Please Help!!

Hello all. I know this topic has nothing to do with DVD-Rs or anything of the like, but it is video related in a sense. I hope someone here has the answer to this problem.

I have a 21" Sony Monitor that has a problem with blurring. Everytime i turn it on it's crystal clear and everything is viewable perfectly fine. But after a few minutes the monitor gets very blurry and stays that way. At first i thought it was just my eyes but infact it wasn't. The problem is fixed if i turn off the monitor and then turn it back on again, but then 3 mins later it blurs again and stays that way.

I tried to degauss but that did not fix the problem. If anyone has any solution to this problem it would be grealty appreciated as this is a very expensive monitor! Any suggestions at all will be of great assitance. Thanks!
