  1. Having a hard time getting SVCD2DVDMPG+ to make a workable DVD. I have followed all of the tutorials and still when I play the DVD on stand alone (Qwestar DV100 Think it is the same as an Apex) it will start like it is going to play but I get rotating lines on the screen of the TV like when a VCR is off track (Don't own a vcr any more).

  2. first we have to figure out if it is the dvd or your player. To determent that you need to do 2 things:

    1. play the dvd in your computer with a program like power dvd or windvd. If it gives the same problem then it is the dvd you've made. If that is the case come back here and we figure something out.
    2. check the players list if it plays svcd-dvd. I checked for you player but it isn't listed. So maybe you can play the disc in another standalone player (of a friend) the is listed as playing svcd-dvd in the players list. If it plays in that player your player can't play svcd-dvd.

Found out alittle more more about my Standalone DVD player it is the same as an Oritron DVD100. Going to try a DVDr (been using DVDR+-W Disk for testing). and try it on someone else DVD Player.
