I am trying to make a VCD backup copy of Monsters Inc, but am having playback problems. This is the second time I have started from scratch with this project and have ended up with a bad VCD.
I have made several other VCD's using this same process (DVD Decrypter, DVD2AVI, TMPGEnc, Nero) that play fine, but the difference with this time is that I'm using VCD Easy to create chapters and interactivity, and then burning with Nero.
My question is: Are there any known issues with either Monsters Inc, VCD Easy chapters and interactivity, or Nero that might at least point me in the right direction to understand where the problem may lie?
I'm a little perplexed.
Thanks,
Tim

Oh, sorry.. guess I should state the symptoms...
VCD will play fine for awhile and then it just freezes. Both audio and video stop and it literally locks up my DVD player (Panasonic). I have to power down and back on to even eject the VCD.
I am creating and burning using the NTSC VCD template in TMPGEnc... no VBR or trying to squeeze onto one disc, or anything like that. This is a 100% compliant VCD to the best of my knowledge.

how fast did you burn it...try limiting to 4x max and c if that helps.
