  1. I am trying to extract audio from an mpeg movie file (Wrong Turn - UTI)

    Heres my problem!

I downloaded goldwave, and cool edit2.1

When it starts to extract the audio from from the file it crashes at exactly 37% in goldwave and cool edit!

i read some troubleshooting guides, and it said to upgrade sound and video card drivers...... Did that, same problem occurs!

Can anyone tell me what i am doing Wrong!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like a corrupt MPEG. Or, if you extracting to PCM, you may have hit a 1/2/4GB limit depending on OS and Filesystem. How big is the file at 37%?

Sounds like you have a corrupted audio file in the original video at 37%. I didn't realize that either program would extract audio from a MPEG file.

  5. I tried useing V-Dub and i get a pack synchronization error

so i trie useing goldwave and cool edit.....

now i thought it was a corrupt file also, until i tried doing this with CD2, and it did the same exact thing at the same interval!!!!

As far as the size of the file at 37% being to big........
    that shouldnt be a problem.........

i have about 65 gigs available hard drive space, so i assume the size of the output file shoudnt be the problem?
