    Well its "Video" related........

Ok, when it comes to video cards, i know little.
My computer came with ATI 9000 Pro and with the introduction of the 9800 pro ( http://mirror.ati.com/products/radeon9800/radeon9800prome/index.html )I figure 128 megs will ROCK!

I also see there is a 128 meg Nvidia card ( http://www.macmall.com/macmall/shop/detail.asp?dpno=974941 ) which is about the same price.

So my question is......... Do I have to get a "mac edition" of this card?

Ive seen it for 1/2 the price in the PC version of this card.
Any chance that will work? Or do i have to get the "mac edition" of the card?

    clueless on this stuff.

If you get a PC card you have to make sure that you can flash it so it'll work with the PPC chipset. I'd check http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/ first to see what others have done and suggest.

If memory serves (which you can't count on), you need a PC to perform the flashing operation w/ the Mac firmware. Also, it will void the warranty if something should go wrong. So, it could be cheaper if all goes well, or it could be more expensive if it doesn't work, and you've just destroyed a perfectly good video card. You might find it easier and safer to just get a Mac version, and have support if anything goes wrong.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."
