I hope this is the right forum for this...I have searched high and low for good answers and found none...

What I'm trying to do is take my Monty Python set and put it on as FEW discs as possible...

So far, this is what I have come up with:

    1. Rip each episode with DVDShrink (shrink to level 8 or 9-to make as small as possible...)
I can't really tell the difference between the original and the "shrunk??" version...

    2. Demux the resulting VOBs with VOBEdit

    3. Use the resulting *.m2v and *.ac3 files as assets in DVDLab and...

3a. Author DVD with DVDLab (works great!!!)...adding each new "MOVIE" as needed

    4. Create new DVD folders

    5. Burn to DVD-R with NERO

All above has worked GREAT so far, but what I want to know:

Is there a faster, better way to put episodes on fewer discs that I can't find? This is my first try at this (episodes), and I'm getting kind of frustrated with the time that it takes...

Any one have a better way?

I have succesfully placed 6 of the 45 episodes onto one disk using this method...

Essentially, all I want is to have as many of the episodes on one DVD as possible....

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

You could use DVDShrink to shrink the episodes you want to get them to fit on the disc, the ones that don't fit you could compress to still frames, then use menuedit to disable to button to select those episodes.
