  1. I know this is a very stupid question but I ask anyway since I have tried hard but could not get it to work right.
I created DVD content using DVD authoring software. The result is a VIDEO_TS folder with .IFO, .BUP and .VOB in it. If I burn that to DVD, everything work fine.
    My main question:
How do I tell PowerDVD to play the movie in this folder such that it plays just like on a stand alone DVD player ? i.e. with menu, with NEXT to play next chapter and so on ?
Please give detailed instructions if there is a way to do it.
    Thank you

  2. Go to GUIDES on this site http://www.dvdrhelp.com
    Type in PowerDVD
Guide is "How to play DVD from HD"

  3. Just right click on the file icon then select "open DVD files on hard drive" and select the VIDEO_TS.IFO file.

  4. Note this will require PowerDVD 4.0 or above (3.0 could not open files on hard drive).

  5. It seems that I have the same problem with PowerDVD. When I select the VIDEO_TS.IFO file - it cycles through all the menus quickly and then jumps to the first title and starts playing from there. How/what do I load into PowerDVD in order to be able to navigate the menu(s) and select what I want to watch (like extras, deleted scenes, trailers, etc.)?

  6. What happens when you select either the Title or Root menu option after it's started playing your movie? Does it still recycle quickly and go back to the movie? And what version of PowerDVD, what OS?
