I am trying to convert my svcd's to DVD's using ISOBuster and MainConcept. The problem is that most files after extraction don't seem to know if they are 23.9 or 29.9 framerate. MainConcept and some other programs show a framerate of 23.976 but has the video only 80% as long as the audio. (the audio time is correct.) MPEG Properties from MediaLab and others report it as 29.97. The video as extracted plays fine, but if I try to encode it, the video freezes at the time that it claims it should end and the audio continues.![]()
When extracting the AVSEQ01.MPG file from the CD, I use the "Extract but FILTER only MF2F Mpeg frames.
Any help appreciated. I've chased this for 2 weeks now.![]()

Main Concept doesnt convert for 23.97fps to 29.97fps its a problem with the software...You should use Tmgenc or you can use FlashMpg this well resolve your issue

I was able to get MainConcept to handle the SVCD's. I just had to remove the pulldown from the mpg files.
Does anyone know of a way to batch remove the pulldown since it takes a while to do each file and I have several?
Sorry, I just found Pulldown Batch FE
