Which Ulead program? The gurus here are knowledgeable, but not clairvoyant (except maybe Tgpo, but that is another story). Please be a little more specific.

We are almost there. Ulead is the name of a software company, like Microsoft, Intervideo, etc. We would like to know which program Ulead made you were using when you had your problem. The name will be something like DVD Movie Factory, DVD Workshop, or my favorite, Video Studio.
    Hello.

  5. heh...sorry, its dvd movie factory 2, I dont know why it freezes at the end, everytime, maybe my file im trying to do isnt proper dvd mpeg 2 format. But I dont know how to get it to that. It came to me in a .BIN file, I used ISOBuster to take out the main movie file in the mpeg2 folder. The name of it was avesque102, or sumthing like that, the reason i took it out of the bin file was because i burned it in cdrwin, and the cd wouldnt play on my computer or my dvd player, it freezes my comp, and it starts to play on my dvd player, it sayz pbc on, then it stops itself. Any Ideas?

    Thanks,

  6. The quality of one's SOURCE files make the difference between success and failure.

    Garbage in; garbage out.

    It works like that.

This source MPEG file that you mention has my interest.

    I suspect it is problematic.

After you open Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2 and you click the ADD VIDEO button, the clip thumbnail should load into your CHAPTER LIST at the bottom of the screen.

Right mouse click on this thumbnail.

Choose MEDIA CLIP PROPERTIES from the pop-up that appears.

    You should see values for...

    - FILE FORMAT
    - FILE SIZE
    - DURATION
    - VIDEO TYPE
    - TOTAL FRAMES
    - ATTRIBUTES
    - FRAME RATE
    - DATA RATE
    - AUDIO TYPE
    - TOTAL SAMPLES
    - ATTRIBUTES
    - LAYER
    - BIT RATE

Please provide the details for all of the above.

I think I might have found the problem, its in Pal format, but i was trying to convert it to NTSC, Using the movie factory, maybe that froze it, because all the settings I used were for NTSC, i thought it would convert it for me, is there anyway I can convert to NTSC, so I can see if it still freezes. I finnally got TMPGEnc to work, but the movie file came out to 4 GIG, na d the audio was like, a second off, anyway to fix that. I need this movie in NTSC format is my guess, any Ideas?

  10. Ok, I used TMPGEnc to encode it, but the final product came out with the audio and video juss a little bit off, like the audio will be a split second off, and not co-ordinate with the video. Is this fixable?, what would I do to fix it, anf if its not fixable, what settings in TMPGEnc should I use if I have to do it over again?

    Thanks,

Sure. If it is constant throughout the video, it is called an audio synch problem. If it increases as the vidoe plays a gradual audio synch problem. Anyway, here is where you find guides on how to fix them.
    Hello.
