I tried to install the btwincap drivers for my ATI AIW last week and ended up crashing my computer. Rather than trying to fix what I messed up, I just reinstalled Windows. It's been a while since I've done a clean OS install anyway, so I figured what the heck.

The last time I set up network printing between this computer and the one downstairs, it took me two hours and I don't know what the hell I did. After messing around with the same settings and running up and down for two hours, the same settings that I was trying worked. They continued to work after several days and reboots in between.

Since the reinstall, I haven't been able to use the printer. This computer is connected to a wireless hub, which is connected to a router. The computer that's connected to the printer is connected to the same router.

Both computers are running Windows 2000, sp2. Both of them have file and printer sharing enabled. They are on the same workgroup. I have the printer set to be shared, on the computer that it's attached to.

Am I missing something, or is it just my typical bad luck kicking in full throttle?

Thanks. I tried that too, but it didn't work. I still don't know what I'm doing wrong and I'm about ready to smash everything to bits. There really isn't much to configure and I've tried every possible permutation of settings with no luck again.

I don't know what worked the last time and I don't know why it won't work now.
