  1. I have a subtitle file(*.srt), and a mpeg2 file(*.m2v), is there a way to let me mux these two together, so I can have a svcd movie with subtitles on it. I know I-Author does this, but they don't offer demo anymore. It's nice to have subtitles can be turned on and off, actually I don't really care about that, I just need a tool to mux subtitle.

I-Author is the only SVCD authoring tool, that mux .m2v, well I-Author want .mpv, and subtitles stored as .bmp.
If you can not use I-Author, you have to reencode using a subtitle filter like Avery Lee's subtitler (needs to convert .srt to .ssa) or Gabest' vobsub, which I prefer, because you don't need to rip the subs in advance. Newest vobsub work with both YUY2 and RGB.
