  1. I am trying to use Elby's Clone DVD to copy The Simpsons: The First Season boxset. It is my brothers boxset and I want to nab a copy so dont preach at me - I have several problems, the same occurs to each three discs.

I rip with DVD Decryptor to a folder, I fire up Clone DVD and click on CLONE DVD command - I dont want to split discs as the set is already 3 discs big so I want a kind of 1:1 copy of each on three seperate DVDS.

Anyway when I instruct clone to clone the DVD with menus intact, I get (as the finished burned result) only a 20th century fox still menu saying my player cannot play this region disc - my player is region free and plays the original flawlessly, I get the same screen on my PC DVD ROM too using media player. When I disable menues (uncheck keep menues intact) when I burn the disc it plays the episodes okay without menues but the quality is BAD! In scenes with movement I get fuzzy artifacts and I know that I wont get a pefect picture quality clone but thought I should at least get a decent copy. I have disabled unecssary languages and titles. Anyone on the forum copy these DVDs satisfactory? Also how can I copy and keep menus - I want to be able to see and select episodes.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  2. Hmm...

I personally used DVD2One to transcode.

Also, did you make sure you ripped all the files (not just the ones DVD Decyrpter selects for ya)

That's all I can think of...

  4. I posted a similar problem in this forum... no answer yet. ihad problems with Start Trek Next Generation.

AnyDVD Clone DVD and RCE protection. It appears at least in my System that AnyDVD does not remove RCE protection.
My dvd drive is a Compaq DVD-117.

Regardles of what encoding tool I use i get the "This Player is incompatible with the region marking on this disc"

The only way I get around this is to either use DVD Decrypter on the IFO's to remove RCE protection or IFO Region Free tool.

I have tried every Option in Anydvd and nothing works.

This happens when I do full DISC if I do only the main movie it works fine.

This is the exact same problem I have with AnyDVD and full movies.. see link
