OK, dumb me. But I captured some home video in DV format and converted it all into one AVI with maximum datarate, etc. I now have a single 4.8 gig AVI file. Last time I checked, a DVD-R is rated for only 4.7 gigs.
So, I assume I have to do "something" if I want MovieFactory 2 to burn the AVI to DVD without running it through VideoDub again. Is there something I can do in MF 2 to tell it to reencode to fit a single DVD?
Thanks,
Ewan

Well MF2 is going to encode from AVI to MPEG2 before burning to DVD, anyway. So all you have to do is specifiy a bitrate for the MPEG2 that will make it fit on a single DVD.
