Using DVD2AVI and vFapi to make a fake AVI from VOBs. The associated mpa audio is out of sync in Vegas. I want to streamline the editing of VOBs prior to creating a DVD.

When you use DVD2AVI to create the files the mpa file usually has something like "T01 delay -192ms" at the end of it. The "-192ms" shows the audio is out of sync so when you are editing you need to find somewhere to put this number such as an "audio offset" box. I am only familiar with TMPGEnc so can't help you out any further.

The map audio file is set to 0 ms. That must mean there is no offset. Since I'm doning this in Vegas I suspect there's a problem with an ac3 audio. I tried another project and used DVD2AVI to convert to wave and there is no audio sync problem in Vegas.
