  1. i am trying to ecode a 90 minute avi file into an mpeg 2 video and when I use tmpgenc the audio is slightly off later in the film. any1 know what could be wrong?

  2. Extract the audio to an uncompressed wav file using virtual dub then use this as the audio source in tmpgenc.

    How are you veiwing the mpeg?
    Are you using windows media player or have you burned to a cdr/dvdr and watched on a standalone player?
    How did you create the avi, is it a capture?
    If so, what did you use to capture?
    What's your capture source?
    If you can answer those it'll help me to help you maybe.
