    Hi
    Is this possible because my DVD-ROM seems to have locked itself on region 2 and wont play any of my region 1 DVD's!
    Now this really p!@#$s me off because i bought all those DVD's fair and sqaure this region thing is a load of crap!
    Well anways can i make my DVD-ROM region free?
    It has 4 manufacturer resets left but no user resets!
    I have a samsung SD12 or something like that!

    I have craked my drive after it locked on region 1 using a firmware i found. Seems fine now and according to the region programme it is now region free. Only played R1/2 though.
