  1. I encoded an AVI file and now I have two files a MPEG and a WAV file

I chose CBR Linear PCM Audio in my project settings as this reduced the total size of the output to fit on a DVD disc. I have SonicMyDVD and also Ulead DVDMovieFactory 2 but I am not sure know what to do with two files as normally only 1 file was produced as a result of this encoding..

Please help as I am now stuck !!

You could Multiplex the two files into one MPEG file using TMPGEnc. Under "File" - "MPEG Tools" - "Simple Multiplex".

  4. You need to find a copy of SpruceUp or some other authoring app that will accept the m2v and the pcm files. It works great with the corect app. ...... harrymj3

You could add DVD-Lab to that list, it works best with elemental streams.

Depends on how you created the MPEGs.

Are they MPEG 1 or 2?
Are they in VCD or SVCD or DVD format?

Pick the one that best fits.

DVD format would be MPEG2 Program VBR

    DVDit! is another great choice.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

  8. I tried to "multiplex" both a simple and a normal multiplex but I receive an error message "cannot PCM audio something system on sytem" I click add on the right side , select both the mpg and wave file and error occurs

I have tried both MPEG settings in the drop-down list in this screen

I will try the Spruceup program. I was trying to reduce the size of the converted file by reducing the bitrate of the sound.. The movie won't fit otherwise on a standard 4.7gb 120 min DVD media.
