    I was encoding a few music videos into vcd format, but after the 2nd one, tmpgenc kept crashing on me. Now tmpgenc doesn't want to work with any file - any type of conversion. I tried changing the priority settings and I even re-installed it, but it keeps crashing with every video at random stages.

    It worked before, so what can be the problem now?

    have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing tmpgenc ?
