playback problem

after putting vcd through svcd2dvd+vcd/dvd only plays staggered video and no audio.converded other svcd without probs, this vcd plays ok on dvd player and pc. any help much appreciated

did you rip it of the cd with vcdgear?

no i used isobuster ,i followed Baldricks guide,then used nero to burn the video-ts ,everthing goes fine until i put it into dvd player (philips 880 recorder) which hes been playing all my vcds,svcds &dvds without any problems before. it looks as if it is playing fast forward,no audio.i've tried it three times and its always the same .i have the avi. on my hd. tried putting it into tempenc to get mpgs then into svcd2dvd+, could it be nero thats the problem or is it something im missing.

no clue the only thing i know is that philps players have troubles with fastforward on svcd and with audio if it isn't it the right kind of audio file. ac3 or mp2 44.1 mhz or 48 mhz anything else will give no sound.

but i never had trouble playing anything else on my philips player.
