    I finally got upgraded my dvdplayer(philips 751) with the latest firmware 7.26.

    Yes, the dvd-r playback improved a little, but now when im watching normal 2layer DVD's, it skips few minutes when layer changes.

    So any ideas to get it play the layer changes or how to downgrade back to 7.22?

    It is impossible of downgrade the firmware of Philips DVD players, I tested with all version without success...

    Cool I found the solution for downgrade the firmware :

    you must rename the file of the firmware with a number higher than your version of firmware, then to edit the file download with the notepad and to modify the number with the new name of firmware.
