    First of all, it's ugly. Second, you can't stack another component on top of it.

    Not quite sure where you get your information from, but Sampo are manufacturing their own units, and have always done so. The 612 was a so-so player, but the 612(N) was miles better, albeit very limited edition.

    Criticisms of the shape are well-founded, but I wouldn't say it's ugly. The photos probably do not do it justice.

    Maybe it ain't too practical as far as stacking components is concerned, I agree.
