  1. I'm trying to create a DVD with 2 title tracks (each video being a separate title). When I author the files, they show up under the one file name (VTS_01_1.VOB, etc), although in my DVD player, the second movie shows as title 2. When I play back the DVD in my DVD player, I can access both titles, but sometimes when the second title starts, it usually jumps right to chapter 2 (sometimes it works right).

I've tried using DVDlab, but I have too many audio sync and chapter problems, so I gave up on it. Any suggestions on how to get DVD Workshop to export these properly?

  2. Your question confuses me.

    Could you re-state it?

I'll try to help, if I can understand a little better what you're trying to do.

  3. I'll try again:

I'm making a DVD with 2 separate episodes of a TV show. Each episode to be a different title, each with their own chapters. After the first title is finished, the second one is supposed to start. After the second one is finished, it returns to the menu.

When the DVD is played, they show up as 2 titles, but it seems that sometimes when the second title is played, either after the first one is complete and it jumps to the second title (like it's supposed to), or when selected in the menu, the second title will start at chapter 2 instead of chapter 1 (example, Title 1, Chapter 5 completes, but instead of going to Title 2, Chapter 1, it goes to Title 2, Chapter 2, or I select the second episode on the menu and it'll start on Chapter 2). Sometimes it will play okay, starting at Title 2, Chapter 1, but most of the time I get the problem I described.

Looking at the file structure, there are 10 files, but besides the VIDEO_TS.BUP/IFO/VOB files, the rest start as VTS_01_ (there's no VTS_02 files, which from my understanding, there should be for the second title, maybe I'm wrong here).

I checked my chapter settings for the second episode, and chapter 1 starts at 00:00:00:00 and chapter 2 starts at 00:05:20:03, where they should).

  4. Even though you have more then one title set, it all depends on the app you use. Sometimes ulead will create 2 titles sometimes iti wll not. Dvd Maestro creates a title for each clip.

their is a chance that it may be the media you are using to burn the disc. Perhaps if it's generic media its glitching/skipping at that point, and that could be causing your problem. Try another media or even if you have it a dvd-rw disc

  5. I already tried it on a different disc, same results.
