    Can anyone advise on the best software too use so i can join to files together........?

    i use avid express for work but it will only accept certain file types. To do it this way means encoding the two files then join them together which is a pain as i cannot get the correct bitrate right!

    i need to join to Div-x together to then encode as one?

    The software need to be compatable with most file types.

    The best one in my opinion is AviSynth. The script to join files is very simple:
    AVISource("d:capcap1.avi")+AVISource("d:capcap2.av i")
    +AVISource("d:capcap3.avi")
