  1. I've just tried using forty-two for the first time.
    I've got a TiBook 667 running 10.2.6

I want to make an SVCD from a DVD image file created with CaptyDVD.
I mounted the disk image and dropped the DVD icon into forty-two v1.6, created a folder when asked, accepted the file name and created a temp folder. The SVCD button is selecetd. When I click start, I get an AppleScript error

    AppleScript Error

sh:-c: line 1: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `"

sh: -c: line 2: syntax error: unexptected end of file (2)

I tried the same with a commercial DVD and get the same error. Any tips on what I need to do?

    Thanks for any info.

remove all illegal characters in the path to your files. It could be that since you have a mounted dvd, if you have spaces in the name, or illegal characters such as : " ' & etc, thats its not going to recognize the file

also, ensure you have the utmost latest forty-two and that its installed proplery. (manually drag the folder called FORTY-TWO to your applications support folder (library/applicationsupport) and then run the build forty two support app.

with that said, and no illegal characters or spaces in the path it should work.

Thanks for the info. It looks like it's going to work.
No script error and disk info is displayed.
I'll give it a go, tomorrow.
