  1. Trying to put dvd into one disc format to fit onto once cd. Using
Smart Ripper to rip, DVD2AVI to create d2v file, TMPGenc 2.5 to encode
d2v file so I can set it up to encode into one disc format. My Problem is
that after creating the d2v file when I open TMPGenc 2.5 to encode the file
I get message that the d2v file is unsupported. It will not open these files
at all. The real poser is that I have gone through this process before, and
had no problem what so ever. I have not changed any settings in any of
the programs since I first did this. Can someone tell me why TMPGenc will
not recognize those d2v files? Please help me with this. I am about to pull
what little hair I have out!!!

  2. Are you opening the correct D2V (the new one created by DVD2AVI....not the one created by Smartripper)

  3. I take it you are trying to convert to vcd, why don't you use Eazy Vcd from the tools menu, it will do everything for you.

I suspect you have to change the priority in 'environmental settings'.
I'm not at home so can't talk you through it exactly, post back if you get stuck; I'm 99% sure this will solve your problem
