There's allsorts going on now.
Thoughtcopper bashing tgpo's ranch-hand - tex, some guy called cplevel42 (or something) complaining a PM warez request was posted in the feedback section (did housepig really post his real name?) and some guy called vance using single letter's instead of words (how R U M8 2today, U R my b-i-t-c-h U R ) and generally getting people's back up.
And spare a thought for poor old lovely Gina who still rots in her dvd grave.
Her only offence?
Forgetting her medication one fine summer morning is all.
Very sad.

I did not know you had decided to make the warnings not visible to the public, I say bravo. I thought a bullseye seen by all was a rather radical idea from the beginning. You [MODS] still know who the offenders are and so do they. I think you as a group have made a good policy decision regarding the visibility of these warning cards. Not that my opinion matters but I like it this way better and the offender can reclaim his good name in time or hit the cyber-road.

I have no problem with people knowing my name. You cannot raid my account from just knowing my name, location and email address, so that was never a concern.

I didn't want my name and my location associated with WxrxZ on a public forum. And yes my email address as well. I would have never posted my email address if I knew that a guy was going to associate it with WxrxZ on a public forum. Thanks again Housepig, you're a real nice fellow.

I have read quite a few of your posts on these forums, and it would seem that you are pretty darn full of yourself. You're condescending, arrogant, and generally mean spirited. If you'd spend more time helping people who need it and less time making snide remarks and criticizing, my opinion of you might change.

In the posts where you do attempt to help others your answers are short and often cryptic; almost as if to say, if you don't get it, too bad :P I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. I have had more than a few PMs and emails in the last few days from others saying the exact same thing. I won't post these PMs, but will link to a few forum discussions where people have cited you on this. You're NOT so beefy. Quit trying to act like you are a superior being. You're not, your just human like the rest of us.

Why not leave it up for a few days then take it down? I mean, having read some of these inflammatory threads, I wonder if some people aren't purposely trying to get carded? I don't know which is more fun: stupid people saying stupid things, or smart people trying to argue with them. I like the yellow card system. I think the cards should be public for the first few days, but then should be hidden. That seems fair to me. I noticed that Doggiedaddy would probably disagree, and that's fine. There's nothing wrong with people having a difference of opinion, is there?

I don't understand the issue regarding housepig's posting of a PM. The AUP doesn't provide a guarantee of privacy regarding anything we do. Anything I post or keep insystem is fair game, so I sometimes say or don't say things accordingly.

Just a couple of opinions, that's all.

There's a great lesson to be learned in the sentiment, "Learn to pick your fights." Take your lumps, sulk, get over it then keep posting helpful info.

The mods are not going to side with you for whatever reason. They have to remain (what they believe) is neutral, regardless of their interpretation of the intent/content/matter in questions. I don't agree with a lot that goes on in these forums. I believe the mods are biased and demonstrate it by the methods warning/cards/etc are handed out. There is no method it is all subjective. That will not change. You cannot stop the tides by whipping them.

Why you got a warning/card is inconsequential. Just think of it as having your attention called by a teacher in grade school. Whether he started it or not - just you finish it. There have to be 2 people for an arguement - he / you cannot argue with himself/yourself. And I don't think hpig is arguing, you keep bringing it up. You can't undo what he did and he can't undo what you asked, regardless of intent. What is the real issue - that someone you don't know that has no impact on your life in any meaningful way ratted you out? Who cares? The underlying issue is that you broke the AUP. Period. Accept the consequences, which are irrelevant in the scheme of life. You keep bringing it up, let it go.

How do you want this to end? What would satisfy you? It's not that big a deal.
