New Features
============
EditStudio 4 has many new features, including many changes and
additions recommended by the users of previous versions of EditStudio.

Frame Placement
---------------
Both video and bitmap frames can now be moved and resized with ease
using frame placement. Simply select the frame in the preview and drag
and resize it as desired.

Keyframes
---------
The ability to add keyframes to frame placement and effects properties
allows EditStudio to change these values automatically over time. This
can be used to create motion with frame placement, or create
sophisticated effects.

Regioning
---------
It is possible to apply many effects to only a selected region. This
turns simple effects into powerful tools. Regions can be rectangular,
elliptical and included feathered edges.

Of course, regions can be keyframed to follow motion within the video.

In-Preview Editing
------------------
Much of the editing now happens directly in the preview.

DV Monitor
----------
The preview now supports direct output to a connected DV device. You
can connect your camcorder or DV convertor to your FireWire card and
get real time previews on a TV.


Route Tracer Effect
-------------------
It is ideal for marking journeys across a map.

Old Film Effect
---------------
Rather than provide a simple and not-too-convincing effect, we have
spent a long time making a truly great effect. Colour can be removed
and bleached, projection flicker can be added as well as imperfections
like film grain, hairs and scratches. Projection mis-registration
jumps can also be added.

Knock Out Effect
----------------
Designed to remove text and logos.

Text Editing
------------
Lotta crazy shit added here. Real good.
