Why is it that most DVD players I know of, dont list that they play SVCDs... yet according to the dvdrhelp DVD Compatibility List, it says that they do. Are the companies just stupid... or are people just lying?

SVCD is not a very mainstream video format. So instead of confusinq people, the companies just don't bother. Anyways, most of the time, the DVD Players list on this site is correct.
Which player were you thinking about? -
The list says my Samsung 205 plays everything, but, actually, so far, it plays nothing.
So, is it accurate, or no? I can't find any kind of hack. -
I was talking about the DV-250. I just bought one off of EBay. It says it plays so and so.. But i want to be sure.
