  1. Hi,
    I encoded a DVD vob clip with Mainconcept to a MPG file but I get no audio.
    How can this be fixed, if at all?
    Thanks

    what was the source audio ? did it show a source audio in the audio source window?

    what did you pick as type of output?

    yes - you can 'fix" it // just rip the audio stream from your vob file and use it

  3. Input= C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\New Folder\VTS_01_1.VOB
    Output= C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\New Folder\VTS_01_12.mpg
    No audio source to pick from.
    I used dvdshrink and cropeda 40meg section of a backed up DVD.
    It created the vts_01_01 Vob file.
    I used that as the source and I can not figure out how to get the audio extracted from it.

    it is most likly ac3 audio (im guessing).

    demux the ac3 from the vob , convert the ac3 to wav , use wav as source ..

  6. Thanks for the info.
    It is AC3 audio. I am trying to put it on a DVD and a VCD.
    What I am doing is grabing sections of movies out of my backed up DVD's and putting them on a VCD to play at work and also a DVD for home.
    I'm a little confused on the Remux part. Can you explain how to do this from the Mpeg I created?
    Thanks again
