Black and white output

I have a Canopus ADVC 50. Recently I got a PAL Sony Digital 8 camcorder with a cassette shot in another camcorder which was a NTSC. I was supposed to download the video footage from the cassette to my PC for editing and then conversion to VCDs. The display on PAL camcorder is in colour. But when the video in DV format is captured in my PC it is in Black and White. I have changed the setting in my capture card from PAL to NTSC but there is not improvement. What can be done to capture in colour with the exiting setup ?

Not much. See if you can borrow a NTSC camera from some and capture it that way.
