How do i select the correct aspect ratio for my divx files. Like if I encode to MPEG2 at 352x480, I can select it to display at 4:3 aspect ratio correctly. How do I do that with Divx?
I use virtual dub to convert. Do I need another program to do this?

If you download the Divx player, you can adjust the aspect ratio of Divx encoded files. I haven't used it in a while, but it's easy enough to find. You can encode to something like 352X480 and set the aspect ratio to playback as 1:1, 4:3, or 16:9.
Not really fixing the aspect ratio, but it does provide a workaround. -
Oh well. I figured I could compress more video into my dvd if I could change the aspect ratio.
