When I try to edit a DVD made with my Philips R-990 in U-lead DVD movie factory 2.0, I have no sound. U-lead doesn't support the sound format (AC-3) it says. What can I do about it to get the sound?

Other posts in the forum state that MF2 will handle AC-3 even if not offically supported.

Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2 will accept AC-3 MPEGs - and burn them to disc.
But the minute one attempts to *edit* the AC-3 MPEGs, one will cause the program to re-encode them to another audio format (LPCM or MPEG Audio).
To *edit* AC-3, one will need to purchase either the AC-3 version of Ulead DVD Workshop...
