Using VirtualDub:
Is there a way to edit an avi file after capturing it and then save the edited version WITHOUT re-encoding it into another type (xvid, divx, etc)? I'd like to cut commercials out of some things that I captured but I'd like to be able to do it before deciding how I want to encode the file. Thanks for the help guys.

Thanks for the help Junkee. Sorry about the triple post--I wasn't sure which forum I should make my other post in and I got carried away. Thanks again.
